We are self-correcting beings, and, to this end, the ability to perceive losses, and receive warnings, is programmed into us. The trouble is, over-anticipating loss leads to anxiety, and ultimately, when exhausted, to depression.
We can stay on the sidelines of life, anxiously avoiding pain. Or we can jump in, and perhaps begin to enjoy the adventure.
Whilst I wouldn’t wish suffering on anyone, I often reflect on what my own suffering brings to me. PHYSICAL AWARENESS Firstly, when I suffer, I become
